SUHELIPAR LIGHTHOUSE

Suheli Par is an uninhabited island in the Lakshadweep group of islands which is located at 10°05′N 72°17′E, 52 km to the SW of Kavaratti island, 76 km to the south of Agatti island, with a Lagoon area of 87.76 km2 (33.88 sq mi).
30-meter Cast iron circular tower was constructed in 1975 with a red and white colour band and high-intensity LED flasher (Sealite) installed on 10.04.2021, which is operated by batteries charged through solar panels.
