Petrie Lighthouse

Petrie is part of defence Islands an island group of the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The islands are situated 33.5 km north from Port Blair. The unmanned lighthouse commissioned in 2020. Height of 12 meter GI trestle Tower Painted White color scheme and has a LED flasher light powered by battery and solar panel. Accessibility to this lighthouse is only by sea route, commute by departmental vessel or any chartered vessel upto anchorage Point then use mechanised dinghy upto shore then by walk to reach lighthouse.
