Rosen Point Lighthouse

The Rosen point Lighthouse is a 21 meter tower (15M High Masonry and 6 meter Trestle Tower).Rosen point is a port-ending land mass in Great Nicobar Island, Situated at South East of the entrance to Campbell Bay harbour. The Lighthouse at Rosen Point provides A to N services to the vessels entering the Campbell Bay harbour. Prior to Tsunami 2004, Lighthouse was approachable by road but now, the road is totally washed out & damaged. The lighthouse is approachable by sea through LH Tender vessel or any chartered vessel or by DSS Ship upto Campbell Bay and then by dinghy from Campbell bay Jetty to 7 Km jetty and than by walk 3 Km from sea shore in low tide only.
