Cuddalore Lighthouse

The Cuddalore Lighthouse was commissioned on 27.02.1991 by The Port Department, Tamilnadu Government.

Its structure is 19M tall White RCC Circular lighthouse tower. Later, the lighthouse has been taken over by The Directorate of Lighthouses and Lightships, Chennai in the year 2014. The Lighthouse is located in the mouth of the Uppanar River which is very adjacent to the Cuddalore port and is the most purposeful for the fishermen
